There are many different types of motorcycles in today's world. I wanted to post this because there are many new riders out there and i am sure they can benefit from having good information on the bikes there about to consider riding. Also heres a great article on motorcycle helmet buying tipsCruisers- This class of motorcycles is ideal for individuals who are looking for a more relaxed style of riding. Sport bikes- These bikes were built for racing. Sport bikes and standard bikes are often mistaken for one another. These bikes are performance machines. They are very aggressive and often deliver the most accidents. Not the bikes fault. Most crashes with sport bikes is because the rider was inexperienced. Sport Touring- This group of motorcycles are for riders who are wanting to go on long trips. Although cruisers are comfortable, The sport touring models are named that for a reason. They usually come with large saddlebags, adjustable seat height, and new age motorcycle technology. These bikes are also pretty expensive too. Standard- Standard motorcycles were made for the everyday commuter in mind. Often mistaken for a sport bike because of there sometimes aggressive styling and impression of being super fast. These bikes are great if your not looking to go 150+ but want something that has good looks and fits your style. Enduro- On-off road. or known as dual sport. These bikes are made from dirt bikes for the street. they are a lot lighter than the bikes listed above and can carry you in a lot more places.
